Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Some Novel Nitrogen Containing Small Heterocyclic Derivatives

| Abstract:
|
Nitrogen and sulfur containing heterocyclic rings are have emerged as important system in the hands of medicinal chemist due to their wide spectrum of activities. Novel 1,3,4-thiadiazol-2-yl)-benzenesulfonamides were synthesized and characterized by spectroscopic techniques. Further evaluation was done for anti-inflammatory activity by carageenan induced paw edema method and analgesic activities by acetic acid writhing and tail immersion tests in vivo. Almost all the compounds demonstrated good to significant activity profile.
