| Abstract:

Number of new derivatives of 2,3-Dihydroquinazolin-4(1H)-ones were synthesized by direct one-potthree
component coupling cyclocondensation reaction of isotonic anhydride, amines, and aldehydescatalyzed NaHSO4under
refluxing condition in THF in high yield.The structure of the target compounds were investigated by their melting
point,FT-IR, and1H-NMR and 13C-NMR of selected derivatives.
