Effects of Mate, Renal, and Subclinical Hypothyroidism on Perinatal and Neuro Developmental Outcomes in Infants - A Prospective Cohort Study

Abstract: American College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ACOG) and Clinical Practice Guidelines of Endocrine Society does not recommend routine thyroid screening in pregnant mothers. Since there is an uncertainty in treating mothers with subclinical hypothyroidism because of lack of evidence, hence this study was done.The aim of this research work is determining the perinatal and neurodevelopmental outcomes in neonates/infants born to maternal overt and subclinical hypothyroidism.
Keyword: Tri Iodothyronine,Thyroxin,Free Thyroxin,Thyroid Stimulating Hormone,and Thyroid Binding Globulin.
