Osteoporosis, in recent years, has emerged as a foremost public health problematic of global importance. As
the world population is aging as a result of increased life expectancy due to advances in healthcare, the
pervasiveness of osteoporosis is also constantly on the rise. Due to this reduced bone strength. An
osteoporotic person is at increased risk of developing fragility fractures. These fragility fractures predominantly
involve hip, vertebral column and sometimes other skeletal sites like radius. This research work proposes
association of femoral neck with nutritional status of study to know the prevalence of regional osteoporosis in
patients.
