Effect of the Alcoholic extract of the Garlic Plant in the Parasite Entamoeba histolytica in Vivo

| Abstract:

The present study aims at determining the effect of the alcoholic extract of garlic (Allium sativum) on Entamoebahistolytica in Vivo. Twenty-five Balb \ c infected mice aged 6 to 8 weeks and at a mean weight of 20-25 kg were administrated with a progressive doses of 20,40,60,80 mg / kg of alcoholic garlic extract for a week. The results showed an effective and significant effects in parasite killing, especially at 80 mg / Kg.
