Antiradical activity of new synthetic substituted 8,8-dimethyl-3,7,8,9-tetrahydro-2?-pyrido[4,3,2-de]cinnolin-3-ones

Author: ZYKOVA S.S, SHUROV S.N, TALISMANOV V.S, KARMANOVA O.G
Abstract: The target 5-aryl-2-benzyl-8,8-dimethyl-3,7,8,9-tetrahydro-2H-pyrido[4,3,2-de]cinnolin-3-ones and 2,5-diaryl-8,8-dimethyl-3,7,8,9-tetrahydro-2H-pyrido[4,3,2-de]cinnolin-3-ones were derived by cyclization of substituted 2-aryl-7,7-dimethyl-5-oxo-5,6,7,8-tetrahydroquinoline-4-carboxylic acids with arylhydrazines and benzylhydrazines. The highest antiradical activity is shown by the target compounds containing the p-tolyl, p-bromine, p-chlorophenyl and 2-naphthyl substituents and the lowest is shown by the p-fluorophenyl substituent.
Keyword: antiradical activity, arylhydrazines, benzylhydrazines, cynnolin-3-ones
