The comparison between Bumetanide and Chlorthalidone and its effect on patients’ high blood pressure

Author: MOHAMMAD ABBAS, MECIT ORHAN ULUDAG
Abstract: This research purposes to determine the potential influence of Bumetanide and Chlorthalidone on patients’ high blood pressure. The study based on measurement an analysis of collected data from patients who are suffering from high blood pressure and attempting to take treatment of Bumetanide and Chlorthalidone. We gathered data from 47 patients from 3 different hospitals, those patients who are suffering from high blood pressure. We attempted to test the effect of Bumetanide on patients with high blood pressure, on the other hand we tested the effect of Chlorthalidone on patients with high blood pressure. We gathered information from patients in three different time duration, apparently we divided patients into two main groups; first group patients have been administered with Chlorthalidone and second group patients have been administered with Bumetanide. The findings revealed that the P value of the relationship between Bumetanide on high blood pressure was 0.000 and the value of B was 0.568 which is greater than 0.005 this indicated that there is a positive influence of bumetanide on reducing high blood pressure. On the other hand, in order to measure the influence of Chlorthalidone on high blood pressure, we applied same statistical method, it was showed that the P value of the relationship between Chlorthalidone on high blood pressure was 0.674 which is greater than 0.005 this indicated that there is a positive influence of Chlorthalidone on reducing high blood pressure. Finally, we concluded that both Bumetanide and Chlorthalidone have a positive and significant influence in reducing high blood pressure, however it was found that Chlorthalidone has more influence comparing to Bumetanide in reducing patient’s high blood pressure.
