Background- Breast carcinoma being one of the most common carcinomas and the leading sourec of death worldwide is studied variedly for a better prognosis. Serum LDH, a metabolic enzyme, helps in the fulfillment metabolic requirements of these malignant cells. Thus aggressiveness of tumour growth directly correlates with serum LDH levels and acts as a diagnostic and prognostic marker in breast carcinoma patients The study aims to correlation of serum LDH levels with differentiation of carcinoma breast.
Objective: To evaluate and estimate total serum LDH required in the diagnosis of breast carcinoma patients and to correlate the total serum LDH levels to the differentiation of breast carcinoma.
Method: 80 cases wil be studied. Statistical analysis will be concluded by using chi-square test, student unpaired t-test and SPSS 24 version and Graphical Prism 7.0 version software will be used in the analysis and the level of significance considered will be p<0.05.
Conclusion: Depending upon the observations and results obtained from the cases and control group, the conclusion will be drawn.
