Critical analysis of the public procurement medicines system

Abstract: Drug provision in the Russian Federation is an integral part of the healthcare sector. Public procurement in the field of medicine is extremely important, as it conects the lives, health and well-being of people. The provision of medicines, medical supplies and equipment to medical organizations must be clear and uninterrupted, while goods and services in this area must be of high quality, safe and meet the exact requirements requested. Despite the existence of a broad legal framework regulating the process of state and municipal procurement, there are many problems in this area in different stages of procurement, which the authors have tried to systematize in this article.
