| Abstract:

This paper seeks to investigate the role and cooperation between the TNI and Polri in deradicalization. The synergy between the two institutions is necessary for the success of the deradicalization program in the framework of early warning, early detection, prevention and countering the development of terrorism in Indonesia. The Indonesian armed forces have intelligence and territorial capabilities and have a chain of command down to the village level. Likewise, the National Police, which has been the cornerstone of law enforcement, has a significant role in eradicating terrorism and taking preemptive, preventive and repressive measures against the threat of terrorism.
