Presently the spread of SARS-CoV-2 all around the world, besides influencing the pneumonia outbreak also
brought about extensive morbidity. Lack of vaccines and anti-viral drugs pose critical menace towards facing
the disease. The alternatives to minimize the symptoms of infected person includes non-specific broad
treatment and supportive care. With the motive of disease management in India 40-50% of COVID-19 patients
are suggested to receive Siddha medicine, Kabasura kudineer decoction which is a combination of 15 herbal
ingredient. This review focuses on the therapeutic applications of KSK against various other viral attachment
and replication published in relevant literatures and therefore could be correlated with the management of
COVID-19.This review also enlightens the therapeutic benefits of KSK against the comorbid conditions such as
diabetes and diuresis. Hence this article is an attempt to decipher the possible scientific certainty in COVID-19
management
