Quality is everyone’s responsibility and an essential part in our day to day lives which cannot be compromised. Quality Assurance is the department in the industry which deals with maintaining the quality and a healthy working environment in the industry. In this paper a clear picture of the various roles that a Quality Assurance plays in the industry so as to provide a quality product as well as provide a benefit to the industry. The paper also explains how the quality assurance is in touch with the other departments of the industry and helps in increasing the quality of the product with minimum increase in the cost and also explains how the QA department helps in managing the deviations if found. Importance of validation as well as documentation is also explained. It also explains how the QA department with the help of the auditing can increase the quality as well as regulatory compliance and business needs of the industry.
