Development Of Polymeric Nano Delivery For Cytotoxic Drugs

Author: MR.BRISHNENDRA MISHRA, UMANG VARSHNEY, MS PRIYANKA JAISWAL
Abstract: Chemotherapy is the first-line treatment for breast cancer, with additional modalities such as surgical resection, radiation, and hormonal therapy. Unfortunately, chemotherapy has a poor track record of effectiveness and is associated with a broad number of severe side effects. In addition, the therapeutic dosage to the target location is affected by drug resistance. In spite of numerous NANO-based treatment formulations, polymeric NANO particles circumvent the shortcomings of traditional chemotherapy. Studies have been conducted on chemotherapy drugs and the problems associated with their regular formulation in an attempt to enhance the targeting and effective distribution of drugs for the treatment of breast cancer.
