The Effect Of Zinc Oxide Nano particles on the Specifications of Streptococcus Mutans Bacterial Genetic Materials

Author: HASSANAINJWADABID HUSSEIN, OHOOD SALMAN JAWAD, EMAN IBRAHIM AWAD
Abstract: To clarify the benefits relation between the use of nanoparticles and the construction of double stranded DNA-based biosensors, by using Zinc oxide nanoparticles . Zinc oxide is used in functional devices, catalysts, pigments, optical materials and many other important applications. Here nanoparticles were observed to induce DNA denaturation and then Changing the specifications of the genetic material of Streptococcusmutans bacteria. The denaturation was investigated as a function of DNA density, nanoparticles surface area, and DNA length. Denaturation occurred only at high densities of adsorbed DNA and was dependent on DNA length and therefore stability, providing guidelines for controlled adsorption of dsDNA byZinc oxide nanoparticles .
