| Abstract:

Inula racemosa (Asteraceae) is medicinaly reputed plant in ayurveda. It is effective in the various ailments like cancer, bacterial infection, liver disorder and in inflammation. The Inula genus is diverly disctributed in Asia and widely utilized by trible for the various purpose. This property attract many scientist of study phytochemistry and isolation & extraction of novel active phytoconstituents. Hence, there is chance to extraplote the various pharmaolocgical actions. Thus, this review emphesize on the present need of comprehensive study for explore the medicinal importnace of Inula racemosa.
