The impact of the greenhouse effect on human health

Author: VALERY P. OKTYABRSKIY, LARISA T.RYAZANCEVA
Abstract: The state of the environment concerns people because it is related to their health. It is known that the main greenhouse gases: water vapor, carbon dioxide and ozone; due to the greenhouse effect, influence the genetic activity and health of a person. The paper proposes a computational model of the greenhouse effect for evaluating the impact on a person of the optical power of radiation in the IR region on the band of non-degenerate deformation vibrations of water vapor in a Russian bath and a Finnish sauna. This power was calculated in the dipole approximation using the classical formula for dipole radiation in quantum mechanical examination. As a result, the power was determined by the product of the probability of spontaneous transition to the population of the corresponding oscillatory water vapor level (taking into account humidity and temperature in the Russian bath and Finnish sauna) and the energy of the considered oscillation. It turned out that these two radiation powers coincide and they are significantly more than the optical power for greenhouse (atmospheric) water vapor, falling on a person. Therefore, the greenhouse effect in the Russian bath and Finnish sauna also affects the genetic activity of a person, his health, and its impact is much stronger.
